What is the Early Warning & Advisory Monitoring Service?
The service provides a proactive continuous monitoring system for the main institutional and vendor security sources — CSIRT Italia, CERTFin, Fortinet, Cisco, Microsoft and many others — with the aim of intercepting security advisories even before the publication of CVEs or official patches.
Through an automatic collection and normalisation engine, notifications are filtered by the customer’s assets and vendors of interest, reducing information noise and ensuring only relevant alerts are received.
What the service includes
Initial setup
Configuration of feeds and mapping of customer assets to receive only notifications relevant to their IT environment.
Continuous monitoring
H24 automatic polling of advisories, bulletins and institutional vendor feeds: CSIRT Italia, CERTFin, Fortinet, Cisco, Microsoft and others.
Dedicated notifications
Immediate email delivery of relevant alerts with the possibility of integration with SIEM/SOAR already in use by the customer.
Periodic reporting
Weekly or monthly report summarising threats and vulnerabilities relevant to the customer, with indication of action priorities.
Multi-vendor management
Ability to easily add or remove vendors and intelligence sources as the customer’s technology landscape evolves.
Service dashboard
Access to a dedicated dashboard to view and manage received advisories, filter by severity and monitor remediation status.

Early Warning and NIS2: an obligation, not just a choice
The NIS2 Directive (EU 2022/2555), transposed in Italy with Legislative Decree 138/2024, imposes precise monitoring and incident response obligations for organisations in essential and important sectors. Our Early Warning & Advisory Monitoring service is designed to directly meet these requirements.
Art. 21 – Risk management measures
Organisations must implement continuous monitoring systems to detect anomalies and threats in real time, before they turn into significant incidents.
Art. 23 – Incident notification within 24h
NIS2 requires an early warning to the ACN within 24 hours of detecting a significant incident. Without active monitoring, meeting this deadline is practically impossible.
Art. 20 – Governance and oversight
Management bodies must approve and oversee security measures. Our service provides reporting and advisory to support management body decisions.
